The Hilton Hotel in Oak Lawn has numerous staff positions open. They are looking to hire a banquet server, restaurant server, front desk agent, cooks and room attendant. If you are interested, you can ask to apply at the front desk of the hotel located at 9333 S. Cicero Ave. 

Chuck’s BBQ Staffing Darien Location

Chuck’s Southern Comforts Café is hiring for its new Darien location tentatively set to open on May 1. Chuck’s is hiring the whole nine yards – line cooks, waitstaff, banquet staff, servers, catering managers and bartenders. The restaurant is hosting a job fair from March 18 to March 22. The first two days, March 18-19, are for Darien residents only (bring proof of residence). The remaining days of the fair are open to applicants from all communities. The hours of the fair are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; and noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Apply at the new restaurant at 8025 S. Conservation Police Officer Test

The Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) is seeking applicants for the position of Conservation Police Officer Trainee.  While the Department is not yet hiring, it is offering this testing to develop an eligibility list of new Illinois Conservation Police recruits for 2013. Applicant testing is scheduled for April 1-4 through the Illinois Department of Central Management Services (CMS) Examining and Counseling Division.  Interested applicants should submit a CMS100 employment application to CMS. Applicants should also review the hiring information contained on the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, “Law Enforcement” website, click on “Safety and Rules” and then “Law Enforcement.”

Part-Time Faculty - Robert Morris University

Morris Graduate School of Management at Robert Morris University seeks part-time faculty to teach new courses in Business Analytics, Decision Science, Business Intelligence and Data Mining to graduate students at the Chicago location. Must have a Master degree in Business, Marketing, Math or Engineering required; Ph.D. strongly preferred. Must have No less than 7-10 years’ experience in senior-level roles that require decision-making through data analysis. The Illinois Inspector General’s Office is searching for an administrative account clerk to work under the Chief Financial and Compliances Officer. The administrative account clerk is responsible for procurement procedures and purchase order requisitions; assists in maintaining established general account ledger by fund. This position involves working with information of an extremely sensitive and confidential nature.

Child Support Specialist Trainee

The Department of Child and Family Services is offering a paid 12-month training position as a child support specialist. The agency-sponsored trainee receives training in and assists with gathering data via face-to-face interviews and other sources and/or reviewing and preparing petitions, including those from other IV-D agencies/jurisdictions for Custodial Parents (CPs); assists with calculating financial obligations and support balances related to child support accounts.
