Nancy's Pizza and Al's Beef To Reopen in Oak Lawn This Week

It's a new day for the Italian beef and pizza restaurant which will feature new menu items and ownership.

You will once again be able to pick up some Chicago classics in Oak Lawn as the local outpost for Nancy's Pizza and Al's Beef is set to reopen this week.

The big day is Friday, Dec. 13 for the restaurant which has new management and ownership, said general manager Shaun Ebner.

The store, located at 5125 W. 95th St., has been completely remodeled and renovated and has added new menu options. They recently went on a 35-person hiring spree to fill out their staffing roster.

“Everything is new from from top to bottom,” Ebner told Patch last month. “The decor has been updated with tile walls, new tables and chairs, and a second entry door."

Ebner says that the newly outfitted kitchen will prepare fresh foods using never-frozen ingredients. Added menu options will include new salads, sandwiches and specialty fry toppings.

“We are new and want to be actively involved in the community, school functions, the township and charitable organizations,” the general manager said. “I can guarantee that things will a lot different this time around and for the better.”

Nancy's is of course known for their stuffed pizzas, while Al's Beef sandwiches are a Chicago tradition.
