Teavana Coming to Chicago Ridge Mall
The famous Teavana tea store is set to open at Chicago Ridge Mall this spring. Part tea bar, part tea emporium, Teavana offers high-quality, loose leaf tea blends and tea accessories, such tea sets, tea makers and infusers, and tea tins.
“We’re thrilled to have them,” Chicago Ridge Mall marketing director Alysa Gordon said. “It’s a tea lovers paradise.”
Teavana combines the names of “tea” and “heaven” and strives to “introduce people to the aromas, textures, and beneficial qualities of loose leaf teas” the company’s website says.
Teavana is currently being built and is located in the mall near Bed, Bath and Beyond, Gordon said.
Janson's Drive-In Open Date Delayed
The restaurant's website states that Janson's will re-open in February. However, the month has come and gone and the Western Avenue business remains closed.
On Facebook, Janson's Drive-In representatives tell customers that they are impatient to get back in business, but that patrons will have to wait an unspecified amount of time before the drive-in opens.

Credit Union 1 Opening in Oak Lawn
Credit Union 1 will celebrate its grand opening March 25-30 at 5535 W. 95th Street, according to the Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce website.
The chamber ribbon cutting for the business will take place at 11 a.m. March 26.
