The Oak Lawn Park District is excited to announce the Community Pavilion’s Grand Re-Opening event, sponsored by The PrivateBank, on Saturday, January 11th, from 10:00am - 1:00pm. The Community Pavilion, located at 9401 S. Oak Park Avenue, has added a new gymnasium with a hardwood floor, multi-purpose room, brand new front foyer, new restrooms, and other updates to the existing building.
The public is invited and encouraged to come out to the Grand Re-Opening event that will include a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:00am, 104.3 KHiTS Street Team providing music, giveaways and fun from 10:30am-12:30pm, FREE food samples from Andy's Frozen Custard,
Corner Bakery Cafe, Fannie May, Lou Malnati's, and Smashburger from 10:30am - 12:30pm (while supplies last), a half-court shooting contest to win a Kindle Fire at 12:00pm, program demonstrations, giveaways, tours and more!
