Stony Creek March Special Events

The Oak Lawn Park District’s Stony Creek Clubhouse located at 5850 W. 103rd St.,  hosts a variety of fun and entertaining special events throughout the year. The following are upcoming special events you won’t want to miss. Reservations are suggested for all events by calling ahead at 708-857-2433.

Fish Fry Fridays

            Make Stony Creek your Friday hot spot for dinner from 5:00-8:00pm, March 7th through April 18th, and enjoy an all-you-can-eat, delicious buffet of Corona battered cod, corn, wild rice, salad rolls and dessert.  The cost is $11.99 for adults and $7.99 for children ages 10 and under. A shrimp dinner, baked tilapia or walleye dinner will also be available for $15.99

            A cash bar is available. Tax and gratuity are not included in price.

Jazz Favorites Starring Vince Clark and Friends

            Get ready to tap your feet along with the great music provided by Vince Clark and Friends on Saturday, March 8, from 7:00-9:00pm.  Enjoy a night full of classic jazz tunes from the greats such as Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Duke Ellington and many more. Reservations are suggested. A cash bar is available.

            The fee is $12 and includes food and beverage up to $6.

Shamrock Supper

            On Monday, March 10th, the Stony Creek Clubhouse is hosting, in partnership with Tuzik’s Bakery on 95th Street, an authentic Irish buffet supper at 5:00pm. After you enjoy a delicious array of food, the Weber School of Irish Dancers, one of Chicagoland’s largest Irish dancing institutions, will provide entertainment at 6:00pm with rhythmic dances such as the Jig, Hornpipe, Tipping Reel and Set dances.

            Doors open at 4:30pm.  The fee for adults is $20 and the fee for children ages 10 and under is $10. A cash bar is available. 

            Reservations are required for this event and the payment is due at the time of reservation.

 The Saoirse, Irish Band

            Come see the Saoirse Irish Band, a group of young musicians that have won several music competition awards from 7:00-9:00pm, on Sunday, March 16.

             They play traditional Irish music that they arrange themselves. This group has performed at the Oak Lawn Irish Fest and at Grant Park in Chicago at the Celtic Fest.

            The fee is $12 and includes food and beverage up to $6.
