Please join me in the screening of the very inspirational documentary, Girl Rising, about the power of education to change a girl. From the global campaign 10x10, and Academy Award nominated director, Richard Robbins, this film tells the stories of nine girls from countries around the world and the struggles and injustice they face. Featuring the voices of Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Selma Hayek, Alicia Keys, Selena Gomez, and others, this powerful message is being spread. Like the 66 million girls around the world, these nine girls tell their story of the one thing that all of them want- to be student, to learn, and to have an education.
