'Orange is the New Black' Next Day & Night Reads Title
The bi-monthly book group "Day & Night Reads" will discuss Piper Kerman's Orange is the New Black: My Year in a Women's Prison on Wednesday, April 16 at 2 and 7 p.m. Piper Kerman spent 13 months in a federal correctional facility for a ten-year-old drug crime. This compelling portrait offers a unique perspective on the criminal justice system, explores the reasons why so many people are sent to prison, and reveals what happens when they're there. Copies will be available in the Library approximately 4-5 weeks before the discussion. Questions should be directed to the Help Desk.
