VOLUNTEERS NEEDED AT OAK LAWN SENIOR CENTER

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!! Attention Seniors: Oak Lawn local Mary Kos has developed an outstanding Arts and Crafts group at the Oak Lawn Senior Center.
She has done a phenomenal job leading the group in creating art projects to be
donated to organizations such as hospitals and animal shelters. Volunteer to
help Mary Kos and the Arts and Crafts group with their current project. Since
August 2013 they have donated several items to Christ Advocate
Hospital Cancer
Center. More help is needed to keep up with
the donations! Items donated thus far include doll clothes, kids’ purses, and
Minion caps. Upcoming items include Chemo Bandanas and Therapeutic Pillows.

This
is your opportunity to give back to the community. All supplies are provided
for participants and no experience is
necessary!

The
Arts and Crafts Workshop is held on the 1st and 3rd
Thursday of the month from 10:00AM to12:00PM at the Oak Lawn Senior
Center, located at 5220W.
