Halloween Sign: No Candy, No Problem

Phil Barry's Halloween "Candy/No Candy Sign" makes trick or treating more efficient for time-starved parents.

Phil Barry is once again making his ingenious Halloween sign available to residents in Oak Lawn and surrounding towns.

Phil's "Candy/No Candy" sign lets the neighborhood know where residents stand on handing out candy. If you don’t care to participate or run out, just flip the sign over to the side that says “no candy.”

There is also a Spanish-language version.

This grass movement started so that parents didn’t waste their time taking their kids to houses where nobody answered the door, especially with community curfews for trick or treating.

Download the sign included with this story and print it on your computer printer. Then hang it on your door before the little goblins come out.
