Attack Teams Medal in Windy City Power League

Oak Lawn coach from Attack Volleyball Club guides team to 1st place finish in Silver Division of the Windy City Volleyball League.

A volleyball coach from Oak Lawn helped guide her team to the championships in
the Silver Division of the 2013 Windy City Power League (WCPL), the only league
run by the Great Lakes Region and sanctioned by USA Volleyball.

The Attack Volleyball Club’s 13 Select team, coached by Shawn Wendling, was one of two teams to medal for the Attack Volleyball Club of Orland Park.

Several hundred teams from across the Midwest participate in the WCPL, which offers 7 to 8 days of competition.

The Attack 12 Blue team won all 15 of its league matches to also earn 1st place
in the Silver Division.

“Coming together is a begging, staying together is progress, and working together is success,” said Coach Wendling. “These girls are something special. They really want to push themselves. I am so proud to be coaching them.”
