OLCHS Speech Team Continues Tradition of Excellence

The Oak Lawn Community High School’s speech team ended its season on a high note at the IHSA State Tournament in Peoria, Illinois. The team performed exceptionally well, taking on tough competition and placing fourth overall as a team. Individual placings include: Leo Quezada, 5th Place in Oratorical Declamation; Emily Salomone, 4th place in Original Oratory; and Emily Salomone, 4th place in humorous interpretation. Humorous Duet Acting and the team of Taylor Lindemann and Cameron DeLaMora clinched the first place title as state champions in Dramatic Duet Acting!
