Spartan Screamers Raise Level of Fan Experience

The Oak Lawn Athletic Department established the Spartan Screamers as a way for students to increase numbers, volume, and involvement during sporting events. And tomorrow night the Spartan Screamers will be on full display as the girls basketball team takes on South Suburban Conference opponent Lemont for its annual Pink Out Game to help raise awareness and funds to fight cancer.

Besides cheering on the undefeated Spartans during their game, the Spartan Screamers will have the opportunity to take part in a tug-of-war against the fans from Lemont, and the best-dressed and most pinktastic fan will also have the opportunity to win a $40 cash prize from the Athletic Department.

Fans are encouraged to come out and support the team, wear pink, and show their team spirit. The sophomore girls game starts at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity game is at 7:00 p.m.
