Spartans Sign Off

On Thursday, April 24, 2014, Oak Lawn Community High School celebrated as eleven of its seniors signed their collegiate letters of intent.  Superintendent/Principal Dr. Michael Riordan and Athletic Director Kevin McKeown joined head coaches and family members in recognizing athletes.  Letters of Intent were signed by Victoria Jones (Illinois State – Track and Field), Jasmin Pelaez (Robert Morris – Track and Field), LaTondra Brooks (Western Michigan – Basketball), Jannah Mahmoud (Robert Morris – Basketball), Jake Slusinski (St. Xavier – Baseball), Matt Dunne (Roosevelt – Baseball), Paulina Kotwica (Roosevelt – Tennis), Ed Trybula (Concordia University – Football), David Michaels (Elmhurst – Track and Field & Football), Becky Bradshaw (Univ. of Wisconsin – Stout – Volleyball), and Elisabeth Childers (Trinty Christian College – Softball).  These athletes embody the character traits that exemplify Spartan Pride.  Oak Lawn is extremely proud of the student athletes and wish them the best of luck as they embark on their college journey.  Once a Spartan, always a Spartan.  Pride in Teaching, Pride in Learning, Pride in Playing, Spartan Pride!
