Did the communications director quit?

Is it true that Kathy Hansen, the 911 director quit? After all the arguments, controversy, broken contracts, etc....then telling everyone what a good move this was, why would she quit? I have read in many outlets that she and the trustees are happy with the Norcomm change over. If that's true, why would she leave?
