Over the Top! Together We Cope Has Lots of Friends

Patch and Together We Cope have reached our goal of 350 claimed Patch directory listings in 30 days. We want to thank everyone who helped us!!!

Stores, restaurants, doctor's offices, churches, schools, government offices, a local mosque, bars, financial advisers, movie theaters — in the last four weeks, folks from all walks of life have stepped up and claimed their Patch directory listing on the south suburban Patch network.

In the last few days alone, 55 listings were claimed. As of today, we have 377 claimed Patch directory profiles. And if you've been following our crusade, you know that we've reached and exceeded the magic number of 350. That means  will become the beneficiary of a free digital promotional campaign — the first advertising campaign in the history of the organization.

In March, our staff hit the streets to ask business owners and agency leaders to claim their Patch profile in our local directories. We beat our goal with three days to spare, too. If you'd still like to climb aboard, claim your directory profile listing and we'll add you to our roster next week. In the coming weeks, you're going to learn a lot more about what Together We Cope does to help people in crisis throughout the Southland.

Today, we thank the following businesses, schools, houses of worship and organizations for showing their support. If you've ever been a customer of theirs or user of their services, please click through and post a review to their Patch listing. Share your voice with your friends and neighbors.

Patch's Directory is a digital guide to everything in your town. Do you own a business or manage a local agency? Click on the Directory tab at the top of our home page, find your listing and click to "Claim."

Re: Mother 24's final comment on food handlers hand washing, is there an ordinance requiring hotRead More water in restrooms.? Many have only cold water in both faucets or verrrryyyy slow to respond hot water faucets. This should be a point of inspection for the health inspector (s.) Phinnigin

Re:Phinnigin. I agree!! Most establishments do not have hot water in the restrooms!!! However, whyRead More can't restaurants install hand sanitizer behind the counter? The Popeye's in Burbank has a hand sanitizer installed behind the counter, but honestly, the employees hardly ever use it, which is why, after a horrible experience at that location last July, I have not patronized ANY Popeye's since!!!
