1,074 Without Power In Oak Lawn Early Sunday A.M.

Vehicle reportedly hit utility pole at 91st Street and Cicero Avenue knocking out a transformer around 12:15 a.m. Sunday.

Commonwealth Edison is reporting that 1,074 households are without power early Sunday evening. The estimated time for restoration is 2:15 a.m./3:15 a.m., taking into account that switch to Daylight Saving Time.

According to the police and fire scanner, a car hit a utility pole near the McDonald's at 91st Street and Cicero Avenue. A power line is laying across the Cicero Avenue and traffic is being re-routed. The power line is being removed.

The outage area appears to cover McDonald's to Webb Chevy, west to the Oak Lawn Library.
