Police initiated a traffic stop at Southwest Highway and Tulley Avenue. The officer said that Campion told him he was driving on a ticket for not carrying insurance, but was now insured by a major carrier.
Reports said the card listed a Burbank address for a “20032” model Honda out of an insuring office in Roanoke, VA, but there was no contact number. Police contacted a call center for the insurance company and spoke to an employee in North Carolina.

Police said the policy number on the Campion’s insurance card expired in December 2011. The employee also told police there was no record of Campion being a policyholder or of the Honda’s vehicle identification number in the company’s database, reports said.
Campion was placed under arrest and was held pending a bond hearing. He was issued citations for suspended registration, false insurance car, no valid registration and failure to surrender a suspended registration.
