Flooding Reported in Oak Lawn -- UPDATED 1X

Readers are reporting flooding in Oak Lawn late Thursday evening. Proceed with caution.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for the central southern sections of the Chicago region in effect until 7 a.m. Friday.

Flooding has been reported in some sections of Oak Lawn Thursday evening, including:

  • Kostner Avenue is completely flooded, south of 95th Street.
  • ‎100th Street and 52nd Avenue is flooded as well.
  • Brandt Avenue by 95th Street. Whole block is underwater.
  • ADDED: Massasoit between Southwest Highway and 91st Street.
