The fourth person, Andre Harris, 45, was charged with retail theft.

The incident began when the manager of Walgreen’s at 4740 W. 95th St. flagged down to report that two men just flew out of the store with stolen merchandise, reports said.

While searching for the two men, police were again flagged down by the manager who pointed a car pulling out of the parking lot northbound on to Hilton Drive.

Police stopped the car with the two females and observed a gray shopping basket along with numerous unbagged items in the back seat, reports said.

According to the report, Shaw, who was driving, told police that she was in the Walgreens parking lot when two men that she didn’t know opened her rear door and threw the basket and unbagged merchandise into her back seat.

Police said they found various soaps, toothpaste, body sprays, deodorants and a bottle of Jack Daniels in the back seat. The report said that police also recovered several pieces of cut straws, a spoon and steel wool with crack cocaine residue.

Danner was also found in possession of a glass pipe with burnt edges along with a glass bottle, police said.

Soon after police stopped Shaw and Danner, the two men were located on the north side of Walgreen’s. Police said that Solomon had a karaoke machine, Tshirts, socks and candles, a glass pipe in his pocket. Harris also had a karaoke machine.  Store employees positively identified the men, Danner and the car.

All four were taken to the Oak Lawn police station. Police said that Danner had $234 worth of stolen goods; Solomon $96; and Harris had $54 in stolen merchandise.

Police said that Danner, Solomon and Harris all admitted to driving to Walgreen’s together and taking items from the store.

Shaw, however, denied even knowing Harris or Solomon and continued with her story that both men ran out of the store and dumped the merchandise in her car, reports said.

Harris, Solomon and Shaw are due back in court on Feb. 16 in Bridgeview.

No further court information was available for Danner.
