Guy Walks Into A Bar, Gets Socked

Bartender tells cops alleged combatants weren't "regulars."

A 53-year-old man filed a battery complaint at the Oak Lawn police station, stating the had gotten punched during an argument at a local tavern the afternoon before, reports said.

Police said the man was at TC’s Too at 9906 Southwest Highway, around 1:45 p.m. Jan. 14, when he became embroiled in an argument with a male acquaintance.

While arguing at the bar, the acquaintance punched him in the face, which dislodged his glasses, reports said.

Other patrons separated the two, and the bartender told both men to leave the bar. The 53-year-old said the acquaintance left first, and afterward he left the bar as well.

Police said the man refused medical attention. Police did not observe any redness on the man’s face where he indicated he had been hit.

The man also added that he had been diagnosed with traumatic brain disorder and is considered disabled, reports said.

Police said that the man was able to provide a photo of the acquaintance from a social media website.

The bartender at TC’s Too Pub told police there was argument between two men the night before, and that one of them had thrown a punch at the other.

She added that both were not regulars and did not know their names. The bar is provided security video.

Police said the man can identify the acquaintance.
