Driver swears at cops, thinks he is in Oak Lawn.
An Oak Lawn man who thought he was in his home town and repeatedly swore at police officers was ticketed Jan. 27 by La Grange Park police for driving under the influence and for two other violations.
Stanislaw B. Grzegorzak, 66, of 10400 S. Circle Drive, also was ticketed for improper parking and illegal transportation of liquor. Police said they found a 375-milliliter bottle of Absolut vodka in his car with clear liquid inside that tested as alcohol.
Police received a cell phone call at about 9:52 p.m. from a woman who said a man parked his car in the intersection at 31st Street and Brainard Avenue and approached her car window. Police told the woman to stay in her car.
