An assault complaint was signed against a professional dancer after she threatened to “slap the s---“ out of a diner at an Oak Lawn restaurant, reports said.
Police were called to Sushi Tyme at 4959 W. 95th St. at 9 p.m. in response to a reported threat.
According to police, a 26-year-old man having dinner with his mother. At the next table Ruth B. Burns, 26, of Itasca, was dining with three girlfriends.
During dinner, the man said that Burns and her girlfriends were being obnoxious and rude to the staff, reports said.
The women at the table allegedly made remarks that the man was gay. When he told them to mind their own business, police said Burns threatened to “slap the s---t out of him and motioned toward him.
Burns was taken into custody and charged with assault. She has a court appearance on Sept. 13 at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

‘The Tell Tale Gum’
A 25-year-old man believes that his ex-girlfriend vandalized his 1986 Olds Cutlass that was parked in a lot on the 9300 block of South Harlem Avenue, reports said.
The unknown vandal slashed the rear tire on the boyfriend’s car sometime between 2 and 8 a.m. Hot glue was also used to damage the lock on the driver’s side door and a piece of chewing gum was stuck on trunk lock.
The boyfriend smelled that gum told police that his ex-girlfriend chews nothing but that particular flavor.
The man had also filed a report stating that his girlfriend allegedly left taunting text messages that after he found his tires slashed on July 29, Patch reported.
The girlfriend, identified as Kathleen M. Tallon, 41, of Westchester, was charged with criminal damage to property. She appeared in court in Bridgeview on Aug. 30.
