Man Banned from Home Depot Arrested

An Oak Lawn police officer recognized a man who was charged with retail theft last September pull up to the Home Depot at 4060 W. 95th St. around 10:51 a.m. A passenger got out of a blue Nissan and walked to the front entrance of the store, while four occupants remained inside the motor running, reports said. The officer was able to identify the driver of Maurice Walker, 51, of Harvey, as the person allegedly involved in a Home Depot retail theft from last September. At the time of his arrest Walker was warned not to return to the store or he would be arrested for criminal trespassing. Walker was taken into police custody and charged with criminal trespassing. He has a Feb. 4 court date.

Consensual Conversation Nets Fugitve

Police stopped a man identified as Juan H. Saucedo, 28, of Chicago, who appeared to be looking for shelter on the 8800 block of South Cicero Avenue around 10:17 p.m. According to the report, Saucedo asked police for a ride to 87th Street and Lawler Avenue. Saucedo provided his ID to cops, which subsequently came back with an active warrant out of Evergreen Park. Police waited with Saucedo until Evergreen Park police arrived.
