Retired White Sox Catcher Fisk Pleads Guilty to DUI: Court Watch
Also, police nab suspects in area robberies, including Radio Shacks in Oak Lawn and Palos, as well as an Oak Lawn 7-Eleven.
Retired White Sox catcher Carlton Fisk pleaded guilty to misdemeanor DUI in Will County Court in Joliet.
Arrested on Oct. 22 by New Lenox police and charged with DUI, the Sun-Times Media said 64-year-old Fisk pleaded guilt to one year of court supervision. He will also pay $1,250 in court costs.
Fisk was also ordered to complete an alcohol abuse program. According to the Sun-Times Media, part of that program demands that he meet with select families who had lost loved ones due to drunken drivers. Fisk had been booked on charges of DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol and failure to drive on the right side of the roadway.

Police found the Hall of Famer, who currently lives in Bradenton, FL., in a drunken stupor behind the wheel of his pickup truck near Gougar and Spencer Roads. He was charged with DUI and spent the night in jail.

Clifton Hall Jr., 50, and Clifton B. Moore, 39, both of Chicago were charged with one count of armed robbery with a firearm after police chase that spanned Oak Lawn and Evergreen Park, ended when the two men accused of robbing a convenience store crashed their car into a tree in the Beverly neighborhood.
They are scheduled to be back in court on Jan. 14.
PALOS - Ex-Con Charged With Radio Shack Robberies Plead Not Guilty
A Chicago man charged with robbing at least two area Radio Shack stores has pleaded not guilty.
Reginald Taylor, 47, was apprehended in Oak Lawn after holding police at bay with a handgun was charged with robbing the Frankfort Radio Shack. He had already faced robbery charges in connection with a Nov. 7 stickup at the Radio Shack on Harlem Avenue in Palos Heights.
Taylor has two cases with several felony charges, including armed robbery, being an armed habitual criminal possession/use of a weapon by a felon, aggravated robbery and aggravated unlawful restraint.
He is scheduled to be back in court on Jan. 13.
