The woman said she had just finished shopping and was walking back to her car when two men and a woman in their late twenties approached her. One of the men ran in front of her and stopped in front of a dark colored car. Soon after, she heard the female robbery suspect calling her to say she dropped something.

Looking to see what she dropped, the female started asking the woman if her male accomplice was her husband.

When the woman responded no, the female then asked if she had a Chase bank card. Saying she did not own such a bank card, the female started arguing with her and inferred that she had a gun.

The woman eventually gave up her bank card, and the three robbers marched her to the Walgreen’s store across the street at 87th Street and Cicero Avenue in Hometown. When they reached the store, the woman was ordered to withdraw $500 from the ATM.

Police said the woman told the robbers that she did not have that much money in her account. Eventually, she complied and withdrew $500.

The female took the money and all three fled on foot in an unknown direction. The woman was to show police an ATM receipt showing a $500 withdrawal made at 2:09 p.m. on May 6 when she filed a police report the next day.

Police said the  three alleged robbers were described as Hispanic. Although a gun was inferred, a weapon was not shown during the robbery.

Walgreen’s was able to produce a video showing the woman and female robber entering the store together.
