Yelling Woman Charged with Disorderly Conduct

Police say woman told them to arrest her, so they did.

Oak Lawn police charged a woman with disorderly conduct after she kept yelling at them despite being told to stop.

Police said that on Oct. 11, Annie L. Key, 58, of the 4900 block of West Columbus Drive, called to report that one of the neighbors was bothering her. When police arrived around 4:30 p.m., Key was sitting outside in back of the apartment building.

Key was “highly intoxicated” and kept repeating that her neighbor was bothering her and that’s why she called them, according to reports.

Police spoke to Key’s neighbors who said they were sitting outside behind their building. Key came out of her apartment drunk, and began yelling and swearing at one of the women, police said.

Officers said that both women ignored Key as she continued yelling at them. Police tried to get Key to go back inside her apartment, but she wouldn’t stop yelling.
