Congressman Lipinski To Hold Oak Lawn Town Hall Meeting, May 11

Constituents can get up close and personal with the congressman, ask questions, and get help with federal programs.

All Illinois Third Congressional District residents are invited to attend a town hall meeting hosted by Congressman Dan Lipinski at Oak Lawn Village Hall on Saturday, May 11.

Residents will be able to hear from Congressman Lipinski about his work at home and in Washington, as well as ask questions and give their thoughts on federal issues.

Congressman Lipinski’s staff will be on hand 30 minutes before the meeting starts to assist constituents with Medicare, Social Security, veterans’ benefits and other federal programs and matters.

Congressman Lipinski said in a press release that this events provide fantastic opportunities for residents to get help on federal programs and to hear about the wide array of constituent services his office provides.

"I want to personally extend an invitation to the residents of the Third Congressional District to my upcoming Town Hall Meetings. As your representative in Washington and someone who strives to improve the quality of life in the communities I serve, it is critical that I hear from you," Congressman Lipinski said. "I am eager to offer my assistance and hear your ideas."

The town hall in Oak Lawn runs from 9 to 10:15 a.m. at Oak Lawn Village Hall, 9446 S. Raymond Ave.

Can’t make the town hall meeting in Oak Lawn? Another one will be held on the same day in Chicago’s Garfield Ridge neighborhood from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at European Chalet located at 5445 S. Harlem Ave. Chicago.
