The Friends of the Chicago Ridge Public Library are hosting their 14th Annual Ice Cream Social on Wednesday, June 27th at 7:00 p.m. The Royale Polynesian Revue will entertain us with their traditional island dances and costumes. After they perform, you can enjoy an ice sundae with all your library friends. We will also be collecting non-perishable food items for the local food pantry. The library is located at 10400 S. The Popeye's in Burbank has a hand sanitizer installed behind the counter, but honestly, the employees hardly ever use it, which is why, after a horrible experience at that location last July, I have not patronized ANY Popeye's since!!!
