The Friends of the Chicago Ridge Public Library are hosting The Beat Cop's Guilde to Chicago Eats. Sgt. David J. Haynes of the Chicago Police Department and his partner in crime, blogger Christopher Garlington, will share outrageous dining stories from working cops, Chicago cop lore and even a few recipes. Their book The Beat Cop's Guilde to Chicago Eats has been featured on Radio 720 WGN and Fox News Chicago. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
