Public Input Sought for 95th Street Corridor Plan

The second of three informational meetings will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday (May 30) on improvements to the 95th Street corridor.

The Village of Oak Lawn is looking for residents’ input to help the village improve the function and appearance of the 95th Street Corridor.
Made possible through funding by the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning, the village is working with Teska Associates to identify opportunities for improvements along the corridor. Improvements may include new shops and dining, safer pedestrian crossings, bike routes and amenities, landscaping and community signage.

"A public information meeting will be held starting at 7 p.m. Thursday (May 30) at Oak Lawn Village Hall to learn more about the Corridor Study and for residents to provide their feedback." Resident feedback? Since when does the Village care about resident feedback? They sold property to a bank to balance a budget and are building a bank that no one wants, in a place no wants it. They continually make deals behind the backs of residents/taxpayers with no regard, but they want residents' input on the '95th Street corridor'? Right. And I was born yesterday.
