Take the Poll: Should Oak Lawn Reduce Hours for Trick or Treating?

Chime in and take the poll whether Oak Lawn should reduce the number of hours it allots kids to go trick or treating on Halloween.

Trustee Alex Olejniczak (Dist. 2) asked fellow board members whether the village should consider ending trick or treating earlier on Halloween. Currently the village allows kids to trick or treat between 3 and 8 p.m.

Olejniczak thinks 8 p.m. might be "excessive." The Oak Lawn Village Board plans to take up the subject at its next board meeting on Oct. 11.

TAKE THE POLL and let your local representatives know your thoughts on trick or treating hours.
