Town Hall Meeting To Discuss Village Green, Masonic Hall
Oak Lawn village officials holding town hall to discuss possible relocation of Masonic Lodge and expansion of village green.
Residents will have a chance to voice their views on the possible relocation of the the adjacent to the Village Green.
The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. Monday (April 2) at the Oak Lawn Senior Center, 5330 W. 95th St.
The meeting is part of a continuing discussion to expand the village green, including a multi-purpose fountain pool and ice skating rink, along with temporary buildings for vendors at such events as Fall on the Green and the village’s Farmers Market.

To do so, the existing Masonic Temple at 9420 S. 52nd Ave. needs to be demolished and relocated.
Funding for the proposed project will come from the sale of village owned-property on 95th Street.
