VIDEO: Resident Ejected from Tuesday's Village Board Meeting in Handcuffs

Patch is experiencing some technical issues due to a region-wide transfer to a new format. We're reposting the video of a resident being removed from Tuesday's board meeting in handcuffs.

We’re reposting the video of Oak Lawn resident Andy Skoundrianos being ejected from Tuesday’s village board meeting.

Skoundrianos was taken out of the board auditorium in handcuffs by two Oak Lawn police officers at the request of a village trustee. He was ticketed for violating a village code for not allowing the meeting to continue. Skoundrianos is to appear in adjudication court at Village Hall at June 18. He has since apologized for his actions.

Patch’s Midwestern sites, including Oak Lawn Patch, transferred over to a new format the evening of May 29. Some stories posted earlier this week did not make the transfer. Our team is working to resolve these technical issues.

As soon as we are able to retrieve the original stories they will be re-posted on the site. Nothing published this week on Oak Lawn Patch was pulled for "hastiness."
