Queen of Peace Students Register to Vote

Burbank, IL –February 27, 2014 – On February 13, deputy registrars from the Cook County Clerk's office visited Queen of Peace to register eligible students to vote. Due to a change in Illinois law, citizens who will be 18 years old on November 4, 2014 - Election Day - are now able to register to vote in the coming March primary elections.

This was exciting news to many of the students who decided to take advantage of this opportunity. A number of juniors and seniors who met the age criteria registered and are excited for the opportunity to begin voting!
