AARP Driver Safety Program at the Library

Registration is still underway for three AARP Driver Safety Programs hosted by the Oak Lawn Public Library, 5300 W. 95th St. Registrants will select one of three sessions:

Series 1: Thursday & Friday, Sept. 29 & 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Series 2: Thursday & Friday, Oct. 6 & 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Series 3: Saturday, Oct. 15 from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

The AARP Driver Safety Program is designed to meet the needs of drivers age 50 and up. Many insurance companies offer reduced rates to drivers who receive a certificate of completion.

Patrons must register in person at the library’s Reception Booth. The fee is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members. Registrants must present a current AARP card at enrollment to receive the discount. Limit: 30 per series.
