Registration is still underway for two AARP Driver Safety Programs hosted by the Oak Lawn Public Library, 5300 W. 95th St. Registrants will select one session on Oct. 6 or Oct. 7. he AARP Driver Safety Program is designed to meet the needs of drivers age 50 and up. Many insurance companies offer reduced rates to drivers who receive a certificate of completion. Patrons must register in person at the library’s Reception Booth. The fee is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members. Registrants must present a current AARP card at enrollment to receive the discount. Limit: 30 per series.
