Chicago’s Riverview Park & The White City

The Oak Lawn Public Library, 5300 W. 95th St., will host a nostalgic look back at Chicago’s Riverview and White City amusement parks on Tuesday, May 17, at 2 p.m.          

Public speaker Larry Bergnach will have you reliving your own treasured memories of these two long-gone amusement parks on Chicago’s north and south sides. 

In his interactive variety show, you’ll be asked to remember the Bobs, Shoot-the-Chutes, Aladdin Castle, Pair-a-Chutes, Flying Turns, Silver Streak and many more attractions.  Larry uses humor, stories, memorabilia and loads of audience participation to lead a trip down memory lane.
