Queen of Peace Entrance Exam Saturday for the Class of 2015

The Queen of Peace Entrance Exam for the Class of 2015 will be held Saturday, Jan. 8, at 8 a.m, as determined by the Archdiocese of Chicago. Eighth grade girls should bring two No. 2 pencils, a calculator and a $25 testing fee. Checks are to be made payable to Queen of Peace, and students need to arrive by 8 a.m. and enter the building through the West Entrance.

Peace does not require pre-registration, but eighth grade girls planning to attend Peace must test at Peace to be considered for admission, scholarships and financial aid assistance.

Peace uses the Explore Exam, a testing instrument developed by ACT. This particular exam consists of four timed tests in the subject areas of English, Math, Reading and Science. Results and admission decisions will be mailed Feb. 15.

Through the generosity of its alumnae and other donors, funding for academic awards and need-based grants will be increased for the 2011-12 school year. Peace Academic Scholarships are awarded to frosh students who have outstanding test scores on the Peace Entrance Exam. These scholarships are renewable up to four years based on a student’s grade point average.
