Hundreds of students hit the "read carpet" showing off their dresses, tiaras, tuxes and even matching colored gym shoes. Some students stamped their own personal style on their prom attire celebrating teenage moments.
There were uniquely decorated cars, but most arrived at Ashton Place in Willowbook in limos. One grandfather chauffered his grandson in his vintage car to the prom.
The theme of the 2012 Oak Lawn High prom was "Everything's Magic" and most students agreed that it was a magical evening.
