Little Switzerland Trip

The Oak Lawn Park District is hosting a trip to New Glarus, Wis., on Tuesday, May 24. 

New Glarus is known for its culture, Old World traditions, unique food and its colorful setting amid hills and valleys. This Swiss community was settled in 1845 by a group of Swiss immigrants.

Tour the Swiss Historical Village for a personal look at Swiss life and the growth of the Swiss Colony. Enjoy a gourmet lunch at the New Glarus Hotel and Restaurant known for its fine Swiss Cuisine, Swiss atmosphere and entertainment.

After lunch, there will be time to shop in the quaint boutiques before returning home.  

Let Me Arrange Motorcoach bus will depart the Community Pavilion at 7 a.m. and return at 7:30 p.m. Fee for this trip is $85 for Oak Lawn residents and $95 non-residents.
