Playoff Fever: Richards Takes On Yorkville In Football Playoffs

The IHSA football playoffs get underway tonight and the Richards Bulldogs get to do the first round at home.

First-ranked seed Richards Bulldogs take on the Yorkville Foxes, the eighth ranked seed, in their half of the 6A draw. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. on Korhonen Field.

Gates open at 5 p.m. General admission, including students (all ages), parents and senior citizens is $5.

The Weather Channel is predicting a partly cloudy evening with night time temperature of 35 degrees, so bundle up. We expect the Richards' student section to up its level of rowdiness during the game.

Richards High School is located at 106th Street and Central Avenue, in Oak Lawn.
