Viking Big Gold Basketball: Celebrating its 50th Anniversary Season

The St. Laurence Viking Big Gold Basketball team kicks off its 50th anniversary season this week with the McBride/Thanksgiving tournament at Stagg High School in Palos Hills. Led by fifth-year head coach Mark Sevedge, the Vikes look to improve upon last season’s 10-20 mark. For those of you who like stats , the Vikings 50-season, overall varsity basketball record currently stands at 689-672, for a percentage of .506.
