St. Gerald's Announces Band Lineup for Parish Carnival

St. Gerald's Parish Fest and Carnival features four exciting days of food, games, rides, entertainment and prizes from August 9 through August 12.

It’s Oak Lawn’s favorite end-of-the-summer event – the St. Gerald’s Parish Fest and Carnival from August 9 through August 12.

Fest volunteers—known by their “Mission from God” T-shirts—announced the 2012 band lineup featuring some familiar Southland favorites:

  • Thursday, August 9 - Sean and Charlie - 7 - 10 p.m.
  • Friday, August 10 - In Like Flynn - 5 - 8 p.m.
    Arra - 9 - 12 p.m.
  • Saturday, August 11 - Lake Effect - 5 - 8 p.m.
    The Hat Guys - 9 - 12 p.m.
  • Sunday, August 12 - Polka Band - 3 - 6 p.m.
    Hurricane Gumbo - 7 - 10 p.m.

The carnival includes four exciting days of food, games, entertainment, rides and prizes. Hours are 7 to 10 p.m. August 9; 7 to 11 p.m. August 10; 1 to 11 p.m. August 11; and 1 to 10 p.m. August 12.

Four-day mega passes with unlimited rides during the carnival are $40 ($60 during the carnival) and can be purchased at the St. Gerald’s Parish office by calling 708-422-0234 or after Masses.

Wristbands for $20 are good for unlimited rides between 1 and 5 p.m.

An extraordinary and amazing raffle, including a $7,000 grand prize, and Bingo will be featured all four days.
