Whether you're looking to kick a soccer ball around or take a refreshing swim, Central Park offers both. The pool is T-shaped, with a deep-water diving board, a drop slide and a baby pool with a slide. A food concession stand is open during afternoon swimming. The pool offers open swim, adult laps, swim lessons for young and old and special recreation programs. The pool is also available for party rentals. Before you dive in, there are a few rules to observe. No child under 10 is allowed in the pool unless accompanied by an adult. All swimmers must wear proper swimwear; cut-offs, leotards and Spandex-type clothing is not allowed. Lifeguards are available for safe, supervised swim fun. Coolers and picnic lunches are allowed, but no glass containers. A food concession stand is open in the afternoons. Park staff reserve the right to check coolers and containers. Lockers are available but swimmers must bring their own locks. Discounted residential and non-residential family and individual pool memberships are available at the beginning of the summer. Primary household members must be age 18 or older.
