The First United Reformed Church of Oak Lawn is a friendly place that welcomes all those interested in the word of God. It offers weekly services and other programs that bring all age groups together.

First URC's helping hands extend throughout the world in numerous missionary missions stationed in Mali, Zambia, Cyprus, France, and New Mexico. Local involvement includes a puppet ministry for the youth, collaboration with the Greater Chicago Food Depository, and an outreach ministry to provide support for individuals in prison. The GEMS and Cadets programs offers bible studies for boys and girls.
