Very poor, many errors in the reports that lead to the criminal getting off at the courthouse. They cost me three days off work- with bad results. The guy even confessed to the crime but bad paperwork and there you go- no justice.
"remain sensitive to human needs by treating people with respect, compassion and dignity" - unless Oak Lawn is in a budget shortfall, then the OLPD becomes the cash cow. Anyone ever notice that the OLPD never gives warnings - only tickets, and those tickets are more expensive than other suburbs? Example - no city sticker. Most towns, the cop will issue a warning. Never in Oak Lawn. They'd rather write a $50 ticket for not displaying a $20 decal! Idiots.
OLPD SHOULD TAKE A SENSITIVITY COURSE FOR PERSONS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE INSTEAD OF TELLING THEM THEY DON'T HAVE THE REOURCES TO KEEP THEM PROTECTED!!!!!!!!!
