ive played stony a number of times for leisure, leagues and scrambles. i dont have anything bad to…Read More say about the course as its fun to play and can give challenges at times depending on the wind but overall its a good course to play. while i understand the price of the course is needed to help upkeep it i think it could be a little cheaper to play even for residents. one thing i wish they would change is the number of prizes for their golf scrambles, only one prize for first and closest to the pin and longest putt? how is one prize fair for the overall? more and better prizes might help bring in more players. i know i wasnt too pleased with the last scramble because all we got for food was hot dogs and hamburgers and they didnt have that many ready when everyone came in. why not change it up make beef sandwiches or have a soup or salad to go with it? hopefully for the next scramble there will be more prizes otherwise this is one golfer who will find somewhere else to play.
