• Trinity Lutheran Preschool, 9701 S. Brandt Ave. Oak Lawn, was recently honored to have SSG John La Giglia visit the school. SSG John La Giglia recently returned from a tour in Afghanistan. During his tour the school along with other Trinity organizations sent 14 boxes of goodies to his troop. The boys and girls were very excited to meet SSG John La Giglia.

On Monday, January 16, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, we made it a “day on, not a day off”. The White Sox collaborated with City Year in its efforts to honor Dr. King's legacy of service to others. The White Sox Volunteer Corps joined 900 other local volunteers in transforming and uplifting three community centers in Chicago’s North Lawndale neighborhood with murals, painting and construction projects. Our team created “Soxxies” (there are no such things as “Cubbies” in a White Sox World!) for the students to have a place to put their books. We had a great a time. I believe that it's time for a change of Leadership in Worth Township !
Why ? Simple We need new blood in office ! Do you know there are streets in
Worth -that don't have any street lights? Maybe with new leadership they can
find the money to put in street lights !
