Stoners Jump Man Walking Home from Work

Cops say muggers were after 29-year-old man's backpack.

Oak Lawn police said the man noticed two young males in the alley between Ridgeland and Marion as he walked home around 11:37 p.m. March 15. As he continued walking, he felt someone try to pull off his backpack. The man heard one of the young males said, “come here, motherf---er. “ When the man spun around, he recognized the would-be mugger from the alley, a male white in his early twenties wearing a gray hoody, black skull cap and black pants. 3 Adults Charged in Disturbance at Chuck E. Cheese's

Three adults were arrested on multiple charges of battery, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct stemming from a disturbance at Chuck E. Cheese’s on Saturday night. Laundromat Visit Soiled by Punch to Face, Cops Say

Laundromat scuffle leads to misdemeanor battery charges for Chicago man, police say.

A 59-year-old man’s visit to a Laundromat was soiled when he received a punch to the face after he chuckled at another couple’s argument, reports said. Autopsy for Alleged Beating Victim Set for Tuesday

Police say they are waiting for Cook County Medical Examiner's report to determine cause of death for 51-year-old man who died five days after he was found unconscious in front of Oak Lawn home.

An autopsy has been scheduled for an Oak Lawn man who died under mysterious circumstances at the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office on Tuesday morning. Oak Lawn Man Found Unconscious Dies of Injuries

Oak Lawn police continue trying to determine if 51-year-old man was beaten or injured.

The Oak Lawn man who was found unconscious on his front doorstep in the early morning hours of Jan. 30 has died of his injuries, his family reported. Sign up for Oak Lawn Patch breaking news alerts. Terry Reichert, 51, passed away at Advocate Christ Medical Center. Oak Lawn Police said he was found with facial injuries and unable to speak by his girlfriend at his him near 109th Street and Komensky Avenue. Police and family members said that Reichert had presumably been laying unconscious outside for several hours after being injured. Family Thinks Brother Found Unconscious Was Beaten

Family of Oak Lawn man found unconscious with bruises all over his body wants answers. Police trying to determine if he was beaten or had accident.

Oak Lawn police want to know how a 51-year-old man came to receive severe head injuries after he was found slumped on his front doorstep where he had apparently been lying unconscious all night. Man found to be possession of numerous items stolen from cars, police said.

Man Let Pit Bull Attack Mom Three Times, Cops Say

Mother thought she was going to die, police said. Twenty-one-year-old son being held in Cook County Jail on $20,000 bail.

A 21-year-old man faces felony charges after police said he let his pet pit bull attack his mother multiple times, reports said. Jeremy Rusin, 21, of the 4900 block of West 91st St. was charged with battery, domestic battery and assault. He is being held on $20,000 bail at the Cook County Jail. POLICE BLOTTER: Pop Pinching, Hooters Hijinx

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 30 A 38-year-old woman was charged with felony retail theft for allegedly stealing 17 cases of pop from Jewel-Osco at 8801 S. Ridgeland Ave. A loss prevention officer spotted Traci L. Kay, of Palos Heights, loading up a cart with pop around 3:45 p.m., police said. Kay was confronted outside the store and detained. Police said Kay has stolen from the store on numerous occasions. At the Oak Lawn police station, Kay allegedly admitted to stealing cases of pop as well as laundry soap, and selling the hot goods to stores in Chicago.
