Laundromat scuffle leads to misdemeanor battery charges for Chicago man, police say.

A 59-year-old man’s visit to a Laundromat was soiled when he received a punch to the face after he chuckled at another couple’s argument, reports said. An autopsy has been scheduled for an Oak Lawn man who died under mysterious circumstances at the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office on Tuesday morning. Oak Lawn Man Found Unconscious Dies of Injuries

The Oak Lawn man who was found unconscious on his front doorstep in the early morning hours of Jan. 30 has died of his injuries, his family reported. Sign up for Oak Lawn Patch breaking news alerts. SUNDAY, DECEMBER 30 A 38-year-old woman was charged with felony retail theft for allegedly stealing 17 cases of pop from Jewel-Osco at 8801 S. Ridgeland Ave. A loss prevention officer spotted Traci L. Kay, of Palos Heights, loading up a cart with pop around 3:45 p.m., police said. Kay was confronted outside the store and detained. Police said Kay has stolen from the store on numerous occasions. At the Oak Lawn police station, Kay allegedly admitted to stealing cases of pop as well as laundry soap, and selling the hot goods to stores in Chicago.
