Chicago Ridge Man Charged in Palos Hills Bomb Threat

Police say a 50-year-old man phoned in a bomb threat to his ex-lover’s employer, according to a report.

A 50-year-old Chicago Ridge man who police say they found lying behind a fence is accused of calling in a bomb threat to a Palos Hills business, according to a report. Kenneth Drajin, 50, has been charged with felony disorderly conduct, Sun-Times Media reports. Authorities say he threatened his ex-girlfriend's workplace. Executive Mailing, located in the 7800 block of West 111th Street, was evacuated after receiving a threat on Monday, according to report. Investigators determined the call came from a pay phone at the Bridgeview Walmart. Security video from the Walmart location allegedly showed Drajin making a call. Police found him by a fence in the 10500 block of South Harlem.

BLOTTER: Man Accuses Police of Being Prejudiced Against Tattoo, Bar Patron Insults Woman's Dancing

Oak Lawn police reports, April 6 through April 14.

SUNDAY APRIL 14 A 26-year-old man reported that a woman slapped him several times at George’s Lounge at 5407 W. 95th St. around 1:40 a.m. The man told police the woman got angry and slapped him four times in the face after he called her a “bad dancer.” Police said the man was “highly intoxicated” and could not provide a name or description of the woman, other than she was wearing a red shirt. An employee told police that man was being belligerent toward the woman throughout the evening. The man had also been “aggressive” to the employee. He refused medical treatment and police told him to go home. BLOTTER: Juveniles Run Wild Through Jewel, Men Fight Over Petting Dog

Oak Lawn police reports, March 26-28.

THURSDAY March 28 Two men were charged with disorderly conduct after they reportedly fought over petting a dog. Police responded to a call of men fighting in the 9600 block of Southwest Highway around 7:03 p.m. Officers spoke to both men who were highly intoxicated, reports said. Wilfredo Morales, 54, of the 9600 block of Keeler Avenue, told police that he was trying to pet the other man’s dog, police said. The other man, identified as Dale R. Kinzie, 53, of the 6400 block of West 84th Street in Burbank, became angry, and ordered Morales not to speak to his dog, according to the report. POLICE BLOTTER: Man Offers Kids Lollipop in Men's Restroom and MORE

Oak Lawn police reports, March 26.

TUESDAY MARCH 26 Police responded to a report a man asking children if they wanted some candy in the mens’ restroom at Arena Bowl at 4700 W. 103rd St. When officers arrived around 2:40 p.m., the complaining grandparents and their grandchildren had already left. The manager reported that the children’s grandmother told him that a white male in his 60s approached her grandchildren in the men’s bathroom and asked if they wanted a lollipop. Police said the manager followed the man to another restroom, where it appeared the man was trying to smoke a cigarette. Unruly Patrons Break Mirror in Bar, Cops Say

Two people charged after throwing shot glasses at Oak Lawn Tavern, police say.

An employee at St. James Place at 5305 W. 95th St. told police she was waiting on customers, when a woman identified as Michelle C. McKeown, 24, requested a glass of water. POLICE BLOTTER: Political Yard Signs Stolen, Road Rage, Man Punches Cars

MONDAY FEBURARY 25 A village board candidate reported that two of her campaign signs were stolen from residential yards in the 9500 block of South Tripp Avenue. The signs were reported stolen  FRIDAY FEBRUARY 22 George Kuzur, 36, of the 7700 block of South Merrrimac Avenue in Burbank, was charged with disorderly conduct after being accused by another driver of waving a “large knife” during a road rage altercation, police said. The other driver said he was cut off by a white cargo van coming out of a shopping center lot in the 5100 block of West 95th Street, reports said. 3 Adults Charged in Disturbance at Chuck E. Cheese's

Three adults were arrested on multiple charges of battery, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct stemming from a disturbance at Chuck E. Cheese’s on Saturday night. POLICE BLOTTER: Suspicious Dumpster Fire at Harnew, Waiting Room Meltdown

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 6 Police and fire officials are investigating the cause of a possible arson fire at Harnew Elementary School at 9101 S. Meade Ave. A surveillance video shows a male juvenile approaching a recycling bin and igniting the paper inside around 10:03 a.m. After torching the Dumpster, the juvenile walked eastbound toward Austin Avenue. MONDAY, DECEMBER 3 Police responded to a disturbance in the pediatric emergency waiting room at Advocate Christ Medical Center at 4440 W. 95th St. around 10:18 p.m. When police arrived, hospital public safety officers were holding Jason C. TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 27 A 29-year-old man told police he clubbed a would-be intruder with a landscaping brick and chased the intruder off his property around 3:42 a.m. Police responded to a battery in progress on the 10800 block of South Lockwood Avenue. TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 13 A disturbance at an Oak Lawn elementary school brought in police when a parent became upset with school staff. Administrators told police the parent came to drop off his child at Sward Elementary School at 9830 S.
